Fant-O-Lanterns is a one of a kind NFT project, designed and made for the Fantom Crypto Network!

A seasonal NFT drop for the Fantom users, these pieces are randomly generated to make unique and one of a kind art that no one has ever seen.

I was tasked to create 6 sets of assets for the Fant-O-Lantern character, hats, heads, eyes, mouths, and clothing. Each set had about 10 to 15 individual items that could be used to create unique characters, from a green Super Saiyan sunglasses wearing Fant-O-Lantern to a pink heart eyed Venom mouthed one.

PROCESS

Each Fant-O-Lantern character or asset went through the same process of creation.

First I was given several prompts to rough out, whether it was a pair of glasses or a full character concept.

Then after approval, I go through the inking and shading.

Also each asset, i.e. head, eyes, etc will be individually separated to be used for generative creation.

After the lines, we move straight on to the final coloring, from the character to the backgrounds.

Each individually separated to be rearranged, reimagined, for a variety of combinations.

GENERATIVE ASSETS

The real fun of this project was to see all the different combinations that we could or the algorithm could make up.

With a large variety of assets created for each aspect of the Fant-O-Lantern, over 2,200 characters can be created!
